in two weeks my 60 el camino will go to my painter - it will get a light pastel yellow with a silver metallflake roof and metallflake scallops - can anybody give me some different photoshops how it can look like??
here's the best pic I could found on the web, don't have one of mine yet - if you have a better one - please take yours ---- would be great

Here's a quick version. I was going to add more complicated panel scallops, but I felt lazy and tired. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Personally, as I was painting this, I was thinking that simple is the way to go.

I think it would look best with:
- metallic light butter yellow on the body
- fat silver metalflake on the roof
- white vinyl tonneau.
- no scallops

The lines of the car are complicated and oddly beautiful enough without further distraction. Ignore the scallops I painted. I don't like them. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That ARSE speaks the truth. Once again, I agree with Haring. 67-69 Camaros were available in a nice shade of Yellow (Butternut?) that would look real clean.

PS- Busy graphics would be way too much for that bodystyle.

looks nice - thanks, think that butternut or vanilla colour will match nice with silver metallflake, and I agree with you - scallops are too much, but something more I've to do with it, hmm just waiting till it's painted - ideas are following I'm sure
