I got one for Christmas in 1969. It said Chevys Hate Fords and had a '68 Camaro eating a '67 Mustang. It was a Medium size since I was 12. By '72, I had out grown it but still really liked it so I cut off the sleeves so it would still fit. Used it for track practice in High School. Never could throw it away and it's still around here some place.
Johnny I will call you tomorrow I have a present for you "FAG ASS"..
Love your HALF BREED JANITOR DAD friend

heres a Hanes Wind Sheild sweatshirt by MOUSE! , this is on the back , it is a screen printed design with the lettering and color airbrushed. I actually grabbed it out of a little mexican lady's hands just as she was about to shred it into rags in a rag mill in South Central LA .I gave her 20 bucks , she looked at me like I was crazy. I might sell it to a good home , and I will donate a little something to Ryan and the HAMB if It sells.

i'm having lunch with him tomorrow.
i'll try to get a history too.
No t-shirts but I have a water slide-off from Roth Studios. Had it in the baggie I bought it in for years, then, all of a sudden, I said fukkit. It's on my vent window. My pal Chris (gokatgo) told me it was probably from Robert Williams, I believe it, kind of disturbing. "Suicide squad" skater-freak veering off cliff. I'll try and get a pic of it unless all of you super cool, suave, bucket-heads already have stacks of them anyhow.

How about a Revell ad outa some car mag, had him holding two of his car models like six shooters, signed by the Man.
Took it to the San Mateo Auto Show, about 1963 or so and had him sign it.
I was a very impressionable youth at the time........still am.

Ed did one for me, with my Olds, myself, and my shop name, back in the "Dark Ages" of Kustomizing. Had to scan it in in 2 parts to get in the details. One of my prized possessions!

Really good stuff,everyone....the shirts done by the non-pros are a big part of the reward in searches like this...I'm trying to get a shot of a buddies work, done in the early '60's,in Wooster,Ohio....he was stoked on Roth,Mouse!,and GHOULARDI.....still is....he actually wrote to one of the Roth boys, who in turn sent him an "employees only" Xmas Party shirt....wish he still had it!
PLEASE keep 'em coming?
B2...YOU have the SPIRIT and the RESPECT....way too humble,man.... VonTingler has it too.....

I found these in the same box with the Roth shirt. These are the Iron On types from Roach. Got these at the Philadelphia Custom Car Show in 1971 or 1972. The kids didn't like modeling since the shirts smelled musty.

That's true, Cross Spring....we use 'em for paint and oil rags, brush cleaners, dust masks, polishing cloths, snot rags.....sometimes even just to WEAR? Multi-purpose,no doubt!
GEORGE...I trust you will fully catalog and document all the shirts before selling them off? Btw...on page 92 of Dougie Nason's book, there is a rough (REALLY rough) pencil sketch of a comic cover I did in '88....unsigned,of course....I always wondered what Ed did with all those thumbnails and roughs......Jeez...how much of this stuff do you own?
