Hello,
Rick Fish here. I live in Saratoga Springs, NY. I've been lurking for a while but couldn't get deep enough in the searches. I've already found some big help conserning the vacuum advance on my 63 T-Bird. C9's explanation was excellent. I feel better now that I know what I have done is correct.
I bought the 63 Bird because I was tearing apart my 62 Fairlane and had no ride. I wanted to sell the Bird to buy an hotrod but my wife won't let me.
I've found direction on my Fairlane and it's going to be a gasser style with a Lincoln 460 and a straight axle. I got my insperation from the Falcon Wild Child. I'm sure I will take some heat for not using an FE motor but I'm doing it on the cheap. I just want it to be loud and obnoxious and burn up tires. I got a 40 Ford truck front end with brakes and wishbone. Now I just gotta learn about kingpins.
