Psyc, I was watching that auction also. I've got a 401 and was dreaming about how it would look sitting in my '32 roadster. A little rich for my blood. haha!!!

That's fuckin' nuts. Been doing some homework. Not Buick, but poncho.
Another route? Jigging and cutting up another model type and adapting. Considerations? Bolt up, throats can be port matched with enough casting material, other than that, injector port placement (depending if your mech. or EFI) and shaft alignment.
I seem to be running into the same situation slightly, not cost, but availability at the right cost. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Actually, now with thought before typing. Maybe you or others can help. This is my first Pontiac engine. Some sites that show Buick, Olds, and the Pontiac intake specifications would help.
There's been rumours in the Nailhead community of repops coming. The molds still exist.
