Guys and Gals congrats on a hip swingin' forum and gerday from down under
I gave up on going to swap meets and runs back in the 80's when a set of mags, and a veloooer interior (spit!) was the thing ya did when you swapped your flat motor or Y block out for a V8 and auto. Been lone wolfin it since then, watching street rods becoming symbols of suburban respectability(spit!).
I like the way HAMB is in your face, like the spit back from a dual rochester setup or flipping the radiator cap off a boiling flat motor!
My current ride is a stock (for now) low mileage beater 54 belair. In previous lives I rode a 49 shoebox, 52 styline (love them split windows), and a 58 chev.
