it's amazing.. I have been lurking for a bit, and posting for far less... But, I kept hearing/seeing posts about GERM this, abnd GERM that, we love GERM, GERM should do this and that, WHERE o WHERE is GERM....

A friend of mine from back in the day goes by that monicker, but he is a moron and a pathological liar.

but, do my eyes actually see... posts by GERM?? yet, his posts are mostly PROFANITY and INSULTS, too ANY an ALL.... yet, he is LOVED by ALL.

SO, just when I am, thinking GERM doesnt contribute a rats ass to the HAMB (my newbie opinion, somehat shortlived though).. I see posts of PARAPHENALIA of old, some of which he holds PRICELESS!!

damn, I must day, i agree... some of that is PRICELESS. and whether you like it or not, you exposed a somewhat SENSITIVE side, and YES, you surprised me.

GERM, I am the epitomy of a loser, and you ARE my HERO!

I just LOVE George,
Always have...
As a KID...and as of now at 31...

And will truely be SAD with REAL tears when he leaves this SHITHOLE world...
Every chance to see him or hang out with him at the BOOTH is GOLDEN..
His daughter JO and GRANDSON are GREAT.... I can teach his GRANDSON tips about chicks and drag him around the FATHERS day show........while he teases me......

EATING dinner with GEORGE at PASO while he talks about my chicks tits was a GOLDEN moment BASS knows the deal, we met.......in PASO and VEGAS
GEORGE use to call my CHICK "B.T's"..for BIG TITS.... and GEORGE sends all his toys to her kid.... and the kid LOST his father.......

It rules cause the KID is fucking GOLDEN, and he SMILES....

PEOPLE shit on GEORGE for what he does NOW,
because he builds NEW CARS for films, It's all GIMMICKS to put fake COMPUTERS in HONDAS for FAST AND FURIOUS.... But GEORGE has that RIGHT,because HOLLYWOOD calls him.........
Too me it's the FUTURE for him and HE was one of the MAIN CREATORS of the PAST, and THE real INSPIRATION I wanted a WATSON chevy when I was a KID,
HE is the reason I built SHITBOX KUSTOMS.....as a kid

he';s the reason me and WRECKTUMS(tm) brad drove the chevy home from the JUNKYARD with NO front window, and only the e-brake with no DRIVERS LICENSE,, He;'s the reason SKATEBOARDING and PLAYING in PUNK BANDS got boring to us..... we did a WATSON scallop JOB with SPRAY PAINT and used that STICKY wallpaper shit to make our patterns......

He;s the reason we started the WRECKTUMS car club...

I will post a few more of the REALLY KEY pieces,
I don't really worried about it being safe cause I'm a GANGSTER even if you see my SOFT side .And would hurt you for taking my stuff...

I feel BLESSED to call people like COLE, HARVESTER, FATHERFURY, ROTH, and BARRIS "TRUE HEROES"..and I feel lucky that some of them do actually see the side of me that makes them =say "GERM is a RULER" and he is my FRIEND......
GERM has PASSION........cause even though I get BELUSHI and vanish sometimes. I still got HEART..........and KNOW the meaning of FRIENDS,,,
I need to pay back a few people some cash when I can get ahold of them,, and I have a few trinkets for the ones who have helped me

GEORGE is getting old.he's getting MOODY...
GEORGE is a LADIES MAN, the WOMEN flock and GEORGE loves them......

ENJOY him now because he is TRUELY PRESCIOUS....
If ryan would archive the pictures that would be cool, and I would love to add more as I go,,, feel free to make them neater, I will try to post ones that are more clear.......

I don't care about money, HISTORY and FEELINGS are more important and I would rather be poor like the slaveship half breed I am, yet feel rich when I wake up in my SHOP and look at a TROPHEY from the 53 OAKLAND show for BEST paint...... or look at the pictures..........

George is the NEATEST man I have ever met...
PERIOD..and I will hold on to the memories that went into the trash when my best friend cleaned out the attic and share them with others....even if I never see super stardom from building...
I Have COLE to be the superstar.... and I can HANG OUT..

the history of the cars and the things people say are so fucking twisted, it's insane,,lots of HATERS who are JEALOUS talk down on the NAMES of people who are successfull, and who CREATED with HACKSAWS,WHISKEY,PUSSY and sweat........ the things these HATERS take for GRANTED when they wear a costume to PASO and DOWN TALK a GREAT like BILL HINES.......these KULTURE FAGGOTS ride the DICKS of these ROOTS but have no fucking respect, nor do they ever KNOW any KNOWLEDGE of its HISTORY. and its sad........ Its also sad to say that the JAPS are ruling the new BIKE building KULTURE.. thats cause they have PASSION.................

You could truely never HAVE a more HUMBLE and GIVING friend like COLE.
He has taught me more then I could even absorb, and he's always here for us like a true friend...

I feel blessed, OK IM A FAGGOT,,
I have to go PUNCH my BALLS....
I owe RYAN a HUG for putting up with me,
maybe we will french kiss LONELY SINNERS style(tm) and grab each others asses in the outhouse....

"THERE IS KNOW NEO KULTURE MERRITING ANY POINT or LEAVING behind any FORM OF SUBSTANTIAL VALUE, without it first LEARNING it's REASON of EXISTENCE through AN ART FORM that is PRACTICED in the PURITY of RESPECTING the TRUE ROOTS, and carrying them FORWARD with DIGNITY while not RAPING their meaning in the FUTURE"

I think that sums it up

that might be why I ONLY get GHOSTWRITER jobs for DYKE TRENDSETTERS in SPIN magazine, it doesn't even pay for the HOOKERS.....

carry on my DICK HURTS.......

TRUE HEROES(TM)
LONELY SINNERS(tm)
WRECKTUMS(tm)

That Shoebox is still around in the Midwest. Ryan and I stopped to take pictures of it on a road trip last year - sitting on the side of the road with a for sale sign in the window. The interior is jacked with some late model crap but the outside is pretty much as you see it - unmolested. I think it even has the same caps.

Saw a DVD of the 20th Paso show and there was an interview with George on there where he talks about the Little Bastard comming up missing. Seems it was never loaded on the truck from Florida according to the highway weights, the truck never changed weight across country so the car was never in it to begin with. I doubt if we'll ever know...

I might post a LETTER from the PROMOTER of the SHOW from FLORIDA that he wrote saying it was on the truck,, then it seems there is some other letters of him talking about DEBTS from his shows,,,, then a letter about friendship.....

We will never know,

trying to put the info together...

the shoebox in MODESTO still owned by the family. and the AMBULANCE that carried DEANS body is in NAPA and I have an IDEA where it is,,,, just have to check the license plates on the ambulance...

The rumour about the ambulance may be true. At least it's been going around a long time. I remember seeing one that was supposedly the one way back in the early 70's when I lived in Vallejo at Mare Island. I miss checking out all those Napa Valley wineries on the bikes on the weekends.

That shoebox ford is nice, I like it. Looks like it might have been repainted or the pinstriping wore off. Also it looks like they put different lenses in the tail lights. The ones in the old pics show a solid lens. The ones Ryan took shows a thin body colored bar between the lens. later plmczy

The entire tailight treatment is different - the original used '41 Cad tailights that curved around the fender. The ones on it now look like something from the seventies. The molded portion is also changed to fit the new lights. The spots were removed and the headlight frenching looks different too - although that may just be different lenses. I would hope that the tailights were changed because the car got hit in the rear, not beause the owner thought it looked better. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

That car ryan posted is alot different then the original, but it is the same car.... I think the reason GEORGE was so interested in it was because it was way out in ohio, I mean you have to think he was traveling the world, and encountering KUSTOMS was still somewhat of a rather new thing....
The notes on the back of the picture are really cool
I will try to post them,,,,

He was big on the alexander bros, (probably the only reason we even feel a SOFT SPOT for the "GAY MICHIGAN BITCHES")(tm)

I'm going to post some more pictures this weekend,,,
Unless you dont want anymore...

I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE would be interested in GATHERING up the ONES I HAVE POSTED SO FAR on the LAST POSTS, and making sort of a CATALOG of them until I get finished building my SHITBOXES WEBSITE thats in the works.. I would love to be able to post several differnt versions of the pics, that way you can even read them,, maybe do some close ups.. I'm kinda DUMB and dont even know how to make a web page or store photos, me and Jimmy White are the dumbest at computers,, Jimmys wife saves the day..........

I have some kids working on the SHITBOXES site, It wont be very fancy, but then again neither am I,,

Butt Reynolds, could you email me your Signature pic? I need it for uh research.

Isn't it weird how the road Dean bought it on meanders back and forth across the "new" highway?

Lurker Mick comes through again. I am continually impressed with his custom and/or kustom knowledge.

Yeah, thanks Lurker Mick. My first passion being mid-19th cent. American history, I am always impressed at a real grasp and appreciation for history, whatever the era. That's one of the things that makes this post so f-in unbelieveable.

On one hand germ's stuff has collector worth, which makes it valuable to those that have the money. On the other hand the stuff is a PRICELESS link to a common heritage that we (hambers, rodders, customers, err..) hold dear.

It's like knowing that the Hirohata Merc is still on this earth. It makes me happy to know that someone cared enough to preserve it so that I can look at it and appreciate the era/ atmosphere that it was built in.

This stuff has value beyond what some jackass on e-bay would pay for it. That's one of my real problems with the new e-bay culture. EVERYTHING has a price tag.

So... thanks for sharing this stuff.

I don't care about the VALUE of the items, I think it would be much more fun to put them on display someplace so PEOPLE with TRUE PASSION for yesterdays HEROES, can ENJOY them,,,,

I have spent thousands and THOUSANDS on ERA COLLECTABLES, probably spent more on the ARTIFACTS of HISTORY then I have building hot rods,,,I would much rather call the guy who has the Dobbie Gillis car, and tell him hey I need to send you this thing that goes with "YOUR CAR"...

I would guess the stuff is worth alot of money, but to me it's worth more then money, I spend my free time researching the history,,

DAIGN thanks bro,, thats perfect for me,,, NITROS on GERM,,,,,,,,,,,

I have a collection of PUNK ROCK artifacts that would BLOW your MIND,,,

The barris stuff is PERSONAL, because I truely get a kick out of GEORGE and the HISTORY gives me the chills...

I will post some other stuff,,

I seen barris shit go for more then I could shell out at that time, but I spent 600 on an old business card, signed by Jeffries on the back, and 800 for a racist letter VON DUTCH wrote,,,
That old shit is the CULTURE, before the KULTURE came along and RUINED it, with FASHION and FAGGOTRY(tm)

I have alot of info on that FORD RANDY, I will look it all up,,, and see what is left,,,, I liked the proof from motorlife.

Well I hope this makes you feel better Germ:
While at the Detroit Autorama today, I was talking to the nice lady at the Mooneyes booth, and we got on the subject of Von Dutch the fashion designer... I told her what Kritz and I tell our customers (No, Von Dutch isn't a new clothing designer, it's a new Gay S&M bar in California), and she thought it was HILARIOUS! She said that's what she's gonna start telling the uneducated as well! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I will be there this year with one of my hot rods, I just sold the SECRET MODIFIED, so I will work on a model a,,

I will be there with maybe SAMIYAM or SKIPPY,,,and maybe I can get the FAG AXLE to come enjoy me in one of them outhouses...

I would feel guilty about taking the business card from you dave,,because I have so much already,, How about if you auction it for the HAMB or for my SEX CHANGE op, so I can have COLES baby...

Germ,
Here is a pix that I showed George the last time he was in the KC area and I asked him if that was him. He said "Yep, that was my old race car" and then he pulled out his sharpie and signed it. I really did not want him to sign it, just wanted to know if that was him when he was younger. He also signed a Rod's and Restyle mag for me. Here is the pix.

Incredible collection...
I met Mr Barris last year at VLV, and it was as close as a religious experience this secular humanist will ever encounter. Though, to be honest, he spent far more time talking to my wife about her pinstripe-tattooed back (and who has big tits) than to me.

Was at the Hot Rod and Restoration Trade Show today. Robert E. Peterson gave George a lifetime achievement award to him. Then they sat on stage and George told some stories and answered some questions for about an hour.

I loved the one on how he aquired the casket for Herman Munsters drag car as well as getting pulled over driving the Batmobile for a TV Guide cover shoot with the bat chutes out...

I have a better feel for the guy now and realize how reciepts, cancelled checks, and simple pictures; which might seem like normal items to most,,, mean so much to you.
