I did pretty good this weekend I think. I got a near perfect pearl white t-bird wrap around rear seat for cheap. Also got me some wheel dollies to roll the new merc project around in the shop. My wife give me a new digital camera for my birthday that I have to figure out how to use.Traded for a set of 80' lake pipes, got a set of 50 mercury window vent glass and hardware give to me. It's nearly perfect also.Traded for a set of wide white bias tires with Moonman.Sold enough junk to pay for it all also. Pretty goood weekend. Saw Smitty, Big Ric, Bass,Moonman set up with me at the swapmeet. Had a good time. Guess I'm getting lucky in my old age. I usually lose money when I go to a swapmeet. TP

Bought a real nice 30-31 firewall (wish the rest of the car was this solid) and a $5.00 chev distributor. My son came down from Carrolton, made the mistake of taking his 5 yr old dtr with us, never again. Should have bought that complete 40 Ford rearend off the trailer next to the fence, $40, but I didn't have my truck there. I intended to find you but we walked thru whole place in about 3 hrs.

It was in Conroe.

I bought a slightly bent 46" Magnum 4"dropped axle with '37 - '41 spindles, tie rod, and some kind of aftermarket disc brake rotors/hubs (maybe Wilwood?) for $100. It's bent almost directly in the middle front to back, so it should be an easy fix on a press.

Also bought a Hurst 4spd shifter and linkage with mounting bracket for $20.

Decatur looks like it will be a good one.

I didn't go to a swap meet either but I bought a ironhead sportster motor in decent shape for $200. I also bought a 4 1/8 stroke .125 over flattie that needs a cyl sleeved with open driveline tranny for $300. I even get some old b&w photos of the stock car the flattie was in.
At this rate my tax return isn't going to last long. That was all on Saturday and I just went to visit my old neighbor and stumbled into these deals from 2 different people. Sweet! Brad

Eddie, I never saw you. You should have called. We were set up in the barn on the middle row. There was a red 51 vicky next to us.Brian, I wondered who bought the axle. I didn't even notice it was bent. The rotors and brakes were worth $100.00 I'd think. Flt-Blk , I'm not going to Decatuer. I gotta work. We'll be at Pate though. WE got 26 spaces this year. When I find out the space numbers I'll post them. We'll probably cook fajitas for everybody one night. We fed about 50 people last year.TP
