Hey friends, I'm up early this morning and thought I'd take the chance to start the Hamb F.A.S. Man, I'm honored.

Here's one of a few panels I painted up for a car show I'm gonna attend in Cranfills Gap, Texas. Didn't want to show up empty handed, could use the gas money....

the doors are open, let's see what you've been up to this week!

All the stuff y'all post is awesome, as usual. I really look forward to seeing what everyone's got going on...keeps me motivated over the weekend!

Here is an unfinished project for a friend. He's making a lamp out of a bowling pin, so I shot and striped the flames (no clear yet)...

Great stuff,guys....Hami-that is hilarious! You have a knack for getting to the visual punchline very quickly and on-center! So do alot of you other guys....Straight and to the point....I,on the other hand,am still trying to figure out what the hell I'm trying to do! Time for my Geritol....
Empire32,B.Swede,and all the rest- it would be great to see you all on RF/375.....Barnett and Hami are getting tired of keeping the place alive while I sink into middle-aged confusion... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

G.V. not that I matter, but I really like your stripin' style. For some reason it's simplicity reminds me of Tattoo Flash.

Not art, but I redid my living room this weekend. Went to Home depot and cleaned out their "oops" paint (mixed wrong- $1 a quart). And I also Put reed fencing on the ceiling to cover ugly old glued on acoustic tiles. The painting is my art, though, so this is related http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

james, i am INSAINLY jealous of your living room.

Thanks. I'm a cheap bastard. The chair on the right is from the late 40's and was found as-is on the side of the road, the other chair is mid 60's and was $5 (garage sale) The table between thm is a haywood-Wakefield That I also got at a garage sale for $15 !! I've seen them go for $495, so I got a deal. The glass table I made from 1" sqaure tubing. The walls took all day, but like I said, $5 on paint (plus 2 rolls of tape). I'll have to take a pic of the ceiling, I think it turned out cool.

Here's the ceiling. It was really ugly, and I've been putting off re-drywalling it, then the wife thought of this. Just stapled it up and used 1x4 "beams" between each roll of reed fencing. The entire ceiling (like 13' x 26') was about $100, and waay easier than anything else I could have done.
