Hello I would like to find someone to talk to about the 1986 Cadillac with a 4.1 engine. I am interested in knowing if this engine is a good year or not. I have a chance to buy the car from a one owner with 80,000 miles but do not know anything about this year. Could someone help me please. Thank you JD

jdawg, this is a website for traditional hotrods, not '86 Caddies.

But, to answer your question, I had a 4.1 in an '82 SDV and I got 165k on that engine before I gave the car to my little brother.
