Im looking into my front brake hoses and Im running GM calipers and 3/16 steel brake lines. which AN# do I need?
"
Braided stainless covering over a Teflon inner liner. These are perfect for brake lines, clutch lines and gauge lines. These have straight AN3 or AN4 fittings on both ends. Sold each."
Or if any of you guys have some good lines for sale? rubber hose would work as well

The Speedway banjo fittings work, I don't think they will be a Autozone item.

AN refers to Army/Navy for whom the system was originally developed. Belive it or not but banjo bolts are cheeper at the GM dealer than at Speedway. Also a rear hose for a chevy truck('75 or so) is Much cheaper than for a Nova. Charlir

the number means the size in 1/16ths of an inch....3 stands for 3/16" .....4 stands for 4/16" or 1/4"
