Hi Folks,
I've got a '51 stude pickup with a flat 6 champion and am looking forward to doing a little rodding on it. I've greatly enjoyed reading the posts and learning what other rodders are up to.
I'm also interested in finding folks north of detriot who are doing this kind of work on their rides.
Thanks.
Chas.

So where in the Motor City do you live???
There is a post on the main board of the HAMB about a May 6th GMB (Michigan HAMB members) lunch/brunch on Saturday May 6th in Birch Run. Join us and you'll get the opportunity to meet about 25 HAMB members in person.
Welcome board.

I guess the FNG doesn't know the back and forth communication that takes place on message boards.

Maybe his fingers got mangled in an unfortunate donkey show incident shortly after writing his intro.

Kwame took his car away and he's bashful to reply now. Don't scare him away. . . .Welcome, Chas. Good to see so many rods in the Detroit area.

I'm a little slow on the draw, but I'll get the hang of it. I'd love you see everyone on the 6th, but I'll be in Ann Arbor at a soccer game. Is there any chance the group hits a local spot on weeknights during the summer?

Hi HBdeluxe, Thanks for the welcome! Some how I'm guessing that Kwame wouldn't have much interest in taking my car, as it's not as shiney as his Lincoln Navigator, which I see on the news all the time...

Hi Denise, I'm actually up in Clarkston, but my Dad is down at the nursing home near Long Lake and Woodward. I'll try and make a stop at the Shell station on one of these Saturdays in the near future after I've made a visit with him.
Would you be familiar with the anybody from the Poor Boyz or Pecker Heads car clubs?
Chas.
