Great combination of forums. Now I get to spend even less time actually getting something done at work. :D
Seriously though. I'm stoked that the Garage Journal and HAMB are now semi-connected. I've heard of HAMB for a while but have never had anything to contribute. I probably still don't but am looking forward to using the search OFTEN. Matter of fact.... off to do so now.

Welcome, Darren! There's a bunch of us DFW folk around here!
I just signed onto GJ a few days ago.
What kind of projects you got going in that garage you love?

Thanks Fella's. Been in and out of town for a while now and just now getting back to the things I REALLY enjoy. (Forums and garage projects. :))
As far as projects I have a recent addition and an on going "toy". My toy is a stupid little trailer that I'm modifying to accentuate my track habit. (I've got a rather lengthy post on DFW's Mustang forum found here (http://www.dfwstangs.net/forums/showthread.php?t=264904).
To make a long story short I've turned this...

to this...

and finally to this with an on going fender stretching project that I'll use to cover the MUCH wider rim matching wheels.

Over kill? Turd polishing??? You're damn right. At it's absolute best!!! :D
However, I'm doing all of this on something I know I can mess up in preperation for an all out onslaught on the '69 Ford Ranger I also have in the garage. My plans for it.... so far...... 351 rebuild for reliability and towing, C6 auto for ease, lowered a bit, flat black finish with NO "Ranger"/bling and MAYBE some flames and in the very back of my mind a chop job on the roof. Big plans, big BIG plans, but heck, the truck was free so what the hell. Right????
:D
