View Full Version : Gm steering column wiring harness TECH REQUEST HELP!

anybody have the wiring diagraham around for a late model gm steering column wiring harness??

the late model column has a flat connector attached that hangs out of the column.. on that connector there are letters wich correspond to what the wires are supposed to attach to.. anybody know which wire goes where??

i believe they read a.b.c. thanks in advance

I don't have one here in front of me for the letters corresponding with the color of wires but I think i remember the use for each color.

Black=horn
white=stop lite
Lite blue=left front turn
Dark blue=right front turn
yellow=left rear turn
Green=right rear turn
brown= 4way flasher
purple=turn sig flasher


there is a pink that is not used, it was a key buzzer. might be another wire next to it not used also on some models.

And if the lite blue and dark blue are doubled up the other wire would go the the turn signal indicator.
