posting pictures

can someone please tell me how to post a picture...everytime i try it tells me its too big or its not jpeg, html etc...what the hell do i have to do????thanks,mike

shrink the pic, you can use Irfanview, it is a free download at irfanview.com, I think you can also use Paint.

i am going to thro in my very UNWANTED opinion here,,,

you may NOTICE,,,alot of HAMBFOLKS use starphoto and the upload the link so it shows up as a picture right in the thread,,,

very COOL you might say,,,,
HOWEVER,,,
many HAMBUSERS are on dialupinternet,,,
which MEANS,,,when they go to open that post,,,(even tho "we are not WASTING ryan's bandwith"),,,these posts are INCREDIBLY long for many home users to open,,,,( these images do NOT have the same size restraints as ryan so they DO take longer to load)

i use BOTH webshots and starphoto,,,,
if i have a SINGLE image thats NECESSARY for others to see to "get" the gist of my post i will upload it,,,
otherwise,,,I post links to my PHOTO ALBUMS,,,
that way,,,i am not using up other hambers time,,energy or patience,,,
yes, they STILL have to deal with my bitchy attitude,,,BUT,,,they can view my LAMEASS pics of bonneville, indy, BTT(19)50's, cheater'sville,,,,etc on their own,,,

anyhow,,,like i said before,,,
