dont do it,.... to flimsy... , you can use a front bone and make a mounting perch, or 35-36 rears

I bought the book 'How to Build Tradional Ford Hot Rod' by Mike Bishop and Vern Tardel. In the book it said that these are the preferred rear wish bones to use on an A-V8 ford. I just need to see some pics. Not going with alot of power just a four banger chevy II. Anyone have any pics or braket photo's Thanks

im sure in the book they probely used it on a closed drive , the torque tube is what takes a lot of the punishment, on an open drive all the strength has to come from the radius rods or a ladderbar, if you put the spring behind the axle its going to make the situaton that much worse as the rear will try to piviot

ive seen people use 37-41 rears and that is a bigger mistake yet those things are barely thicker than body pannels, ive seen people use that little forged mount too , they bend under pressure,

i try to over build everything that way it will never brake, there is no reason to be patching up your hot rod after 5,000 miles it should be built to last forever
