I've hit all the I.D. sites I could find on the internet with no results on this one. I was able to use my Hollanders to I.D. a few old Poncho afb's too but not this one. There no tag but has a highly visible number stamped in the right front of the carby base...as follows 63-4759S
Has a band across the front of top like Competition series afb's but any writing has gone away long ago. Has a manual choke and the 5&5/8ths top like a Q-jet. I'm thinkin it's a generic replacement [has the chevy linkage big hole] but would like to know cfm....thanks!

Could be the 625 CFM competition series, as this web page seems to infer:

In my Carter book I can find:

CS 4759 = Competition Series, 625 cfm.
They either had a manual choke, or none at all.

Venturi diam.: Pri. 1-3/16" Sec. 1-9/16"

Bore diam.: Pri. 1-7/16" Sec. 1-11/16"

Can't find anything on the 63 and the S...
