I was wondering if there is a company out there that made multi carb intakes for the 455 Buick. I would like to run something different than the standard 4bbl carb. Thanks.

Offenhauser makes a dual quad medium riser that works well.

Kenne-Bell recommends two 750 Carter/Edelbrocks for this manifold, but two 500's with straight linkage work quite well on the street.

In addition, you can adapt a tunnel ram for the Big Block Mopars to the Buick with a spacer plate.
Said plate may still be available from Kenne-Bell.
It would be easy to make your own.

That said, I'm running a 750 Carter on an Edelbrock Performer with a moderate cam and it runs well.

Two things you have to watch with the 430-455 Buicks are the weak rocker shafts and rocker arms.
Replace them with aftermarket units even for a moderately built street motor.

You'll need to build a high volume oil pump as well.
Easily done and the kits for same are much cheaper at your local parts house.
The kits come in three levels and you need the most extensive one with taller gears and spacer plate.

The oil pump build is easy.
Drill two holes, use some shim stock in the right places and measure with a feeler gage as you go.

If you run aftermarket valve springs with an inner spring - you should - you'll need the small Teflon valve guide seals.
The stock Buick guide seals won't fit inside the inner spring.

I have a set of the manifold adapter plates for 383 Mopar intakes. PM me if you are interested.

I was thinking of something more like a Inglese type or Hilborn look.if I cant find antthing like that I was going to do the single 4bbl with a Caddy air cleaner.
