Not sure if this has been posted before but it looks like there is a new association on the block to give GG and NSRA a little competition. Its called NRCA. Just found their website nostalgiarods.com. So far they have two events planned; one on the west coast (May) and one in Illinois (Aug).
Also, just read that Buckaroo Pub. has purchased some other event out west and are eventually planning two others in central US and eastern US.
We now have waaaay too many events from which to choose. But what the hell, competition is good for everybody.

I haven't heard of them..just wondering if this is a corporate effort to cash in on the rat rod craze.

I wish they would purchase the rod show off of special events here. I see there is no Americruise East listed. They said last year they were going to have it in July so as not to conflict with Macungie like last year. I see the dates for the Americruise is in July out in MO. Am I surprised? A little. later plmczy

Ya missed me. I was there for a couple of hours this morning. Cleaning up my bay. Talked to Dukester for a while. Put a bigger for sale sign on the Villager. No takers so far.

Maybe that's a GOOD THING!
if,
That competition will include who charges the LEAST to get in right? After all, that's supposed to be the good thing for the consumer about competition isn't it? a better product for the same price or the same quality product for a cheaper price?
But then, the NSRA is virtually non existant in So. Cal. so it's no competition in this market.
try this, if you have a dial up go have lunch and come backand the front page might still be loading....
