For splitting wishbones,people have recommended TRW ES-150R tierod ends.
Plenty beefy,without the oddball thread Ford used.
Some of the aftermarket suppliers use them(or foreign equilivilent)in their wishbone splitting kits.
But I don't remember seeing exactly what the original application was.
Here is a chart from www.howeracing.com (http://www.howeracing.com) which shows different tierod ends,
