in visors garage. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif The 40 opera coupe is a bonified old hot rod that he found in Mo he freshened it up a bit and he can give you the poop on it. The 32 also a Mo car looks like it was a competition coupe at one time. And the 55 gasser was believed to be campained around the St. Louis area during the 60's and 70's, was relagated to street duty until a few years ago. And by the way the 55 is for sale for a damn fine price, with the popularity of gassers these days someone needs to snag it up.

The 55 reminds me of a car that ran at the West Plains, MO drag strip around 1970. May have belonged to a guy named Morrison. The one that ran there was orange and had a grille that resembled the one in the picture, it ran a big block I believe.

Just gettin back from the Columbia Mo. swap.
Ya didn't miss anything unless you wanted a
sbc piece.
WZ junk.. The old 55 did have a big block......
and was from Busch county I believe, where ever
that is. Somewhere around St.Louis?
My old 4D was originally from Oregon and made its
way back here in the '60S. I saved it from total
ruin and neglect and few years back. Its a real
rat rod... I found the dead sucker under the front
seat when I brought it home. The little shit chewed
on lots of stuff before he croaked!
Its back on the road for its first time since 1974.
The 32 five window is a long on going project that is
finally coming together.
Chopped in the 50's, and channeled over a stock frame.
I just finished the rear last month... old Halibrand
v-8 center, 36 axle bells and radius rods, and still a
torque tube to a 39 loader. The only change I made to
the frame was the addition of a 29A crossmember and spring.
Thanks all for the comments.........

Wholy Shit! All three of those cars are bad ass.
I can see the 40 rolling down the streets with no hood on it looking for a street race.
