Well, after a whole slew of problems,
I got the hard-tail bolted on.
(along with some other shit)
I'm taking a break from messing with putting on the fork tube covers right now to post this---
Thought someone might care?
Does anybody know the Sacto "poor boys" member POLI?
He told me about a guy he knows who completely rebuilds these Trumpet motors on the CHEAP-
---------------------------
so in case ya forgot-
This is what I started with-

And this is where I'm at now-
The homemade seat isn't really "doin'" it for me,
So I'm either gonna make another one,
Or shell out some $$$$ for somethin' GROOVY-
-Got a 16 wheel "in the works",
-Plannin' on a DIFFERENT gas tank
And the oil tank/oil filter on this thing WILL RULE!
(I just hope nobody 'steals' my idea)

For the life of me, I don't know why everyone pulls the 18" rim off in favor of the 16"er. That tank is awesome too. I sent you a PM in case you really need to get rid of it.

The reason I'm switching over to a 16 is mainly because of the TIRE options-
I know, that sounds laughable, but I really DIG the look of the dual-whitewalls-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
yup, if your gonna roll a pinner you need a 16.
build that fuckin motor yourself. just a lawnmower engine! these things are amazingly simple. you can blow your wad on hop up parts instead.

It's sat for two years, what about splitting the cases to clean out the sludgetrap?
I don't think I'd be able to do that myself....
Picked up a belt-drive for it too! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
