I stumbled across this site the other day when I was looking for ideas and inspiration for my newest project - a '37 pickup. I've never attemped to chop a top, but I am going to give it a try on the old pickup. I already have found a ton of useful info on the chop process on the site. I wll document the build as best I can, because I think build threads from start to finish are cool to follow.
I have a number of cars that I have built over the years - '52 olds, '55 chevy, and a '64 impala. You can definently see my progression of skills over the years from car to car. I always do everything myself, which means I usually screw things up a couple of times before I get it right. I took the last year off from hotrods to build a chopper. The main thing that I learned from that experience is how much I love hot rods! I look forward to meeting some fellow houston hambers. I will post some pics when I get a chance.
