Bellytankers on the mind at the moment, and keen to hear a few details if anyone knows, I'm sure it's run by HAMBers cause it's got Clark's SO-What sticker on it.......looks like this.......

I know that it has a 4 banger in it. And I saw it in impound on Sunday at Bonneville. I think that it is run by the "Rockabilly Boogie" guys or one of their buddy's. I asked them what it ran and the kinda chuckled and said "eighty eight". Also the timing tower guys on Monday said as it was being pushed off the starting line (they pushed it over a mile) that they may have set a record for longest push start. I think they may have had trouble starting it.

Oh yea, for the Bonneville guys reading this. Does anyone know who has the #208 or #209 yellow roadster with a blown Flathead in it? They are from St. Louis. I would like to give them a call next time we are over in STL. Also I can not seem to find a pix of it, Maybe someone has a pix of it with a sponser name on the side of it. Thanks.

Drewfus, the Tank belongs to Shug Hanshard. A fellow of Scottish descent living in Ontario, California. A good human, I might add. I run into him a fair amount in South California. Come to think of it, he's a member of the same club to which I belong (Milers). Wayno

Sodblaster, I can't come up with an entrant with the numbers you mention. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gifAnother try? Wayno

Elmo, I think that it is 108 not 208. We were at the "Polish Festival" last weekend in St. Louis and a couple of guys came up to me (I had on my Bonneville shirt) and asked how their buddy from St. Louis ran. And they told me the car number and said it was the bright yellow roadster running a blown Flathead. So I checked around tonight and may have figured that it may be #108. I think the guys had a few beverages in them and just got the number wrong.
Thanks for looking,
