im not fond of the way it looks , i had an old rod done that way it bugged me everytime i looked at itbest way with a stock axle is somesort of suicide style

youll have to take out most the leaves

A possibility is to mount the spring in front of the crossmember so that the axle is beneath the crossmember in essentially original A location. The mount typically is essentially a plate mounted atop the crossmember where the original U bolts go, suitably braced. This raises a new set of problems that are mostly aesthetic: What to do with the spring hanging out there where the lower part of the Radiator shell normally lives? On fendered A's and '32's, some people simply covered the frame horns from side to side with sheetmetal.

That Deuce is a spring-in-front? Wow, you'd never tell! I'm impressed.

Pardon me, "those Deuces."

REAL nice 5 window. I wouldn't call it especially low, though. 99% sure it has a spring-on-top-of-axle set up -- which is probably the way you want to go. If you're running a Deuce chassis, put an A front cross member in it. That, with a dropped axle and reversed eye spring will get you that coupe's stance. If you're running an A chassis, Speedway makes a flat front cross member that will help bring down that front end. I put one in my roadster, but note that you'll also have to modify your radiator at the bottom to fit.

it doesnt need to be quite that low, and i cant afford to go for a dropped axel, could i get a fair amount of drop removing leafs out of the pack and maybe some different shackles?

trying to keep it low buck cus im broke
