This rear end is suppose to be rebuilt...that is what we were told when we bought the truck that was sitting on it. It does have a nice coat of black paint on it and does not appear to have any leaks or rough spots. It is an enclosed driveline model.

I think that is a car frame, not truck. My 37 truck had a C-channel frame. My 38 car has the enclosed hat section frame like your pic. I realize you are selling the rearend and not the frame, but it is probably a car rearend, not truck. I am not an expert to know if there is any difference between car and truck rearend. Both of my vehicles have open drive and newer rearend. The truck is gone, but I know for sure the frame was C-channel and sure appeared to be the original.

Thanks for catching that.........I agree with you about it being a car frame. My ad was not clear on this point...the PU body was sitting on this frame when we got it. The wheels and steering column that we will be selling soon are also car items I believe. We are selling the frame and rearend in this deal if anyone has a need for it. We just don't need it...running all late model stuff. Thanks again.
