If you want to edit your title to let everyone know your item has been **SOLD** or is otherwise no longer for sale, use the "go advanced" feature in the editer.
You may also delete your post using this feature also but it causes less confusion to mark it sold.
FYI.

Has anyone tried this and had trouble with it?

I tried in the "wanted" section but it edited the title w/in the post but not on the forum where everyone could see it w/o clicking on the post. I may have done it wrong but I've seen other guys getting it right.

the other day ago I was able to double click the post when viewing it from the page where all the classifieds are displayed, edit it in a little box, and it saved. Now, I wanted to try it again and it wouldn't let me edit it, so I edited the title from the "go advanced" button, edited and saved it, but it doesn't show up with the change in the page where all the classifieds are displayed, only when you click on my specific post. Yeah, the secret is that there is a time limit. I don't know how long it is.

quick note that I edited an ad (still at post #1) with no issues. As a test maybe someone can bump the ad and see if the title populates as the edited one instead of the original. this kills 2 birds with one stone for me. helping a freind and the HAMB.
