Newbie from Connecticut

[Hot Rod 47]

Just recently found this great web site. I have been lurking for a few days and have really enjoyed it.
I am a body man/ painter by trade. I have a great wife and two young girls (4 and 6). I am in my mid thirties and have been involved with cars all my life. I currently have a 1947 Ford Deluxe coupe.I am not sure my street rod is what most of you are really into but I love it. It's not a traditional car and yet it is not a high tech car either.
I love all kinds of cars, especially street rods- hot rods etc...
I hate the term RAT ROD. To me a rat rod is a car that is not safe for the road and should not be driver ever.
Just because a car is in primer does not make it a ratrod!!!!!!!!
