I don't mind helping out....

With the recent emergence of high dollar Rod shops and high rollers in the automotive hobby....things don't feel the same these days..... I understand a guy has to have his livelyhood and the concept of free enterprise......

and I sure don't mind making an extra buck....but, all but gone, are the days when a fella would help out his fellow hot rod buddy for a beer and a cold piece of pizza......

Honestly I'm getting to the point I don't know what to think about this. I got a bunch of goofballs that I hardly even know and they know probably even less about me, all willing to make a road trip just to lend a hand and hang out together. I get choked up thinking about it. I've been offered not only help but parts and other stuff that I'd have a helluva time tracking down between school work and our current economic status aka po ass college student that works nights and weekends with classes nearly everyday. It's really hard to express how much this means to me that Radshit willing to host this or that the rest of you are willing to lend a hand.

The HAMB and it's members have been labeled by the lawnchair riders quite negatively in the past. I've never heard or read of this level of support for fellow hot rodders anywhere else. Be it HAMB CHOP or HAMB GAS or just the general good natured parts swapping that goes on, no one can touch the HAMB for what it's members are willing to do for one another. What a bunch of damn Hoodlums we have loitering here. Thanks Ryan for putting the HAMB together I realize this is what it's about for you. And for all of you that are going to be a part of HAMB GAS I don't know how I'll thank you enough or be able to repay all of you.
