2010 H.A.M.B. Drags – August 21

It’s that time of the year again… The time when I get nervous as hell. The Drags are just around the corner. Of course, we made a lot of changes this year. For one, the event is “pre-reg only.” So as of right now, we have a full field of race cars and I must admit – it’s an impressive field. Each class is represented pretty damned well and the quality is straight up over-the-top. This should be fun.

We also finally have a schedule together. Friday night at the hotel is gonna be a party again. Both Miss Major and The RumbleJetts will provide some entertainment and you can bet your ass that folks will be out telling racing lies and just generally bench racing. It’s always a good time.

Of course, the racing goes down on Saturday. If you’ve registered a car, you have a registration packet that came with a schedule. If you are spectating, you should know that you will be able to buy tickets at both the track on Saturday and at the hotel on Friday night (for express entry). As a spectator, please don’t get to the track any earlier than 11:30am. Lines suck.
