I keep getting requests for more of Bert’s great Brownie camera images, so here’s another batch to start your Tuesday off right. More shots of hot rods and race cars tooling around the iconic lake beds of El Mirage, circa 1947. Custom grilles, aluminum hoods, and bubble skirts… It just doesn’t get much better than this in my book. Quite simply, these are from the dawn of the golden age of hot rodding. Enjoy!
