The New Paso

I can remember watching “A Desperate Generation” a decade or so ago and pondering how cool it was to have so many folks working together (and seperately) in an effort to get a bunch of hot rods and customs ready for an event. The documentary went from shop to shop and recorded the efforts these guys were taking just to make an appearance. No sleep, no food, no rest, etc… The event, of course, was Paso.

I now live in a town with an event that rivals… Right now, I could drop by five or six different garages or shops and watch innumerable folks thrash away on their projects with one goal in mind – make the Round Up. There is something just really gratifying about that…
