The Throttlers of Salt Lake

The Throttlers of Salt Lake

model-a coupe

So I went to Salt Lake City for work a few years ago. Gorgeous city, but I have to admit it was a bit strange to see so many folks dressed like Mr. Pink from Resevoir Dogs. The place just feels very sanitary, clean, and buttoned up. Sterile.

Doesn’t exactly sound like a breeding ground for hot rods, does it? The Throttlers make it so… And they do it with thier own unique style and flair. The first car that comes to mind is Loudpedal’s reverse sectioned and heavily hammered model-a coupe. His stories on the H.A.M.B. of tearing up rearends, slamming gears, and just being a general hoodlum in the city of Mormons are pretty much legendary at this point. He’s one of us more than some of us and that’s saying something in this crowd.

Throttlers Roadster

So I wasn’t too surprised when this Throttler’s roadster projected started to become something special. I’ve always believed that it all starts with stance and this car helps proves the point – you get a car sittin’ right and the lines start to speak for themselves. The forward thinking hemi belongs between the rails, the hood needs to be there, the Firestone Dirt Trackers couldn’t be more natural, and the eight strombergs… Why not?

Very smart work here fellas. Take a gander and learn something.
