We Have Sponsors!

For the first time ever, we are offering sponsorships on The Jalopy Journal. My feelings towards advertising and this medium are well recorded in a number of places. Put shortly, I have never offered the opportunity simply because I didn’t want to taint my editorial or distract readers from my message. I think this is a space where you guys as an audience have been neglected for far too long as a result of publishers becoming slaves to advertisers.

Still, I have bills to pay and there are companies in this space that need to be highlighted… What’s a fella to do?

The first thing I did was do a lot of research and write/re-write a lot of lists. I wanted to go out in the world and find sponsors that share our traditional values and that could be seen as assets (rather than distractions) to our community. I think I did a pretty damn good job fellas.
