Bob McCoy’s ’40 Sedan

Bob McCoy’s ’40 sedan is one of those cars that’s hard to forget. In fact, it only appeared once in Hot Rod Magazine (as far as I know) and yet it became one of the most influential fat fendered cars ever built. The picture above is the only shot I’ve ever seen of the car. The front 3/4 accents the rake perfectly, shows off the factory black paint accented by flames nicely, and gives you a great perspective of one of the most copied nerf bars of all time.

You’ve just got to wonder – what ever happened to Bob’s sedan? Is it gone? Even if, are there are more photos out there?
