A Rad Little Roadster & Some News

The news first. A week or so ago, we updated the HAMB App on iOS. If you aren’t familiar with the app, it has a history of mediocrity… BUT, it’s starting to get a little better, a little more stable, and much more usable. Hell, I even use it now.

Anyway, with the latest update came one important piece of functionality. Through your phone or tablet you can now upload and post video on to the HAMB. It works the same as photos (simply pick a video from your camera roll rather than a photo). Unfortunately, however, the video will then be uploaded to Tapatalk’s Vimeo account. With any luck, I will be able to change that in the future. Fingers crossed.

Another new piece of “functionality” is really annoying ads. I was able to turn these ads off for Alliance Members, but they are still active for regular users. I’m hoping to get them off for every user by the end of this week.

Anyway, give the app a try if you are inclined. It does actually work pretty decently now.

And to keep this post on topic, check out this little roadster in the classifieds. This is my kind of hot rod – casual, but with a definite personality. In other words, this thing looks well built but it’s not so damned polished that you would be afraid to beat the shit out of it. Plus, there is room to improve the thing as you drive it. I see a hot little flathead and a top loader in it’s future – don’t you?
