The Classic Deuce Roadster

The Classic Deuce Roadster

It’s not ofter that an early 50s-era Deuce roadster cover car is never spoken of again, but that’s apparently what has happened to Ivano Daini’s super clean ’32 Ford roadster. This Target Red jalopy was immaculate in every way, and was paired up with Ted Mundy’s ’34 three-window coupe for the July 1954 cover of Car Craft magazine. The Daini hot rod specs themselves aren’t anything earth shattering: Channeled Deuce with cycle fenders and big & little whitewalls, running a full house Merc mill and lots of chrome. There are however some nice stand-out bits, like the super clean rear bumper bar and the curved one-piece windshield. The article sums this car up well with, “It isn’t that the channeled deuce is of itself so spectacular, it’s all in how it’s stuffed together.”, adding that “The sum total of all parts is a truly classic street roadster…”
