Hot Rod 101

So the fellas at Hot Rod Chassis & Cycle have been doing this for a few years and I just love the idea. Essentially, they take the miserable damned winter months and make them livable by offering basic Hot Rod classes to the public. You show up, get some grub, and get down to business by learning some of the essential stuff ya gotta know to build a hot rod.

This year, they are concentrating on a Gasser. The plan is to teach folks how to build a race car that looks vintage, but performs better. They go over stuff like chassis geometry, sheet metal fabrication, roll bar and cage design, and all the little things you should know before you start your gasser project.
