The Wee T

The Wee T

Thumb to the back of the July 1955 issue of Car Craft and you’ll find a short 2 page article on a very sweet little Model T Roadster Pickup, owned by Long Beach Knights member Bob Stokke. Actually, the ‘Wee T’ started life as a ’24 T Touring and was cut down and sectioned to make the open truck body, then channeled down low with a fuel tank-equipped bed in the rear. Note the cockpit is so cramped that the floor and seat are one in the same! The entire package sits over rails and drivetrain sourced from a Model A, along with standard hot rod details for the period. There are a few special details on this compact RPU that are worth highlighting: The fighter plane steering wheel, the chromed 75mm shell casing side pipes, and that gorgeous triple blister hood!
