The Round Man’s ’32 Coupe: Show and Go?

The Round Man’s ’32 Coupe: Show and Go?

Here’s another car for your “Where are they now?” file… Some hot rods from the 50s never seem to surface again, and it appears George Rowell’s ’32 coupe may be one of those. (Oddly, Rowell is referred to in the article as ‘The Round Man’, but it’s never explained why.) His car is a very clean, chopped Deuce 3-window that touted the ability to win at prestigious car shows and still compete at the local strip with some decent terminal speeds from it’s ’41 Merc flathead. I like pretty much everything about the styling on this car, except for the wonky looking cycle fenders; They sit about 6+ inches off the front tires and have very crude looking chrome struts to draw even more attention to them. Regardless, I wouldn’t mind discovering the Round Man’s car sitting abandoned in a shed someday.
