La Carrera Panamericana

Stumbled upon this one at Jalopnik this morning. Word on the street is that GM Performance Parts is recreating the ’54 Cadillac Hardtop that finished third in the 1954 La Carrera Panamericana. I’m not sure there has ever been a more idealistic series of races since the original Panamericana races ran in the early 1950’s. Even the rebirth series is pretty cool.
