Death's Doorstep

There is something magical about a lone garage builder with the very rare combination of two talents – creativity and fabrication. Under most circumstances guys with this skill set have identified their calling/value and decided to monetize their efforts. And of course as soon as our passions turn into careers a certain edge is lost or gained or changed or something… In more than a few cases, demand increases to the point where hired help is required and the end product turns into a water downed version of what our hero would have built. After all, it’s pretty rare to find a guy with solid fabrication skills and the un-teachable creativity levels… Working relationships just further dilute the final product…

It’s with all that in mind, that I present the “solitaire” builder. The guy in his home garage that does EVERYTHING on his car. He performs the rather mundane work of wiring and the incredibly taxing work of body shaping – all with the same amount of passion and vigor. No detail is over looked. So much soul… And that’s what it is all about.

Enter Littleman. He’s been building this little model-a drag car for more than a few months now and has been doing a great job keeping the masses of the H.A.M.B. in the loop. Take a glance through his project threads and think about the hours spent on the little things. That’s passion fellas…
