Lego Hot Rods

I found the post by attitudor from Finland exactly 1 year ago today when he constructed a bitchin’ Big Daddy Ed Roth Mysterion tribute out of tiny bricks and submitted it in hopes that HAMBrs would vote to persuade Lego into making it into an official kit (hope that one actually got made, man!). His great brick car post led me on a path to find a few similarly cool Lego Hot Rods in the world. The challenge is building the toy to look good stylistically while keeping it in proportion as well. There is a finesse to getting the overall shapes right while maintaining that chunky, stylized look of the built bricks. You might be thinking, “How hard can this really be?”, but in life (and building cars) with no instructions, the simplest-looking things are always the hardest!
