Revisiting the Race of Gentlemen…

The Race of Gentlemen isn’t in it’s first year, or even it’s second, but for some reason the 2014 event, which took place last October, seems to have firmly planted TROG in the automotive world’s mind permanently. Modern car magazines like AutoWeek, which rarely speak of traditional hot rods, gave the entire cover image to flag girl Sara Francello in all her mid-jump glory… Hallelujah! The New York Times, Hemming Motor News, and many more glowed about this 3rd annual Race, and the momentum seems to be growing. There’s talk of new TROG locations and events in the near future. What does this mean for us? Simply put, the gospel of gow is growing. There are more smart people engaging in our niche corner of the car world and it’s a darn good thing. Bring it on.

I leave you with Adam Reynolds video of the 2014 TROG to inspire you a bit:
