Leave Of Absence…

Some of you guys might remember my dad from the first H.A.M.B. Drags. He showed up in an S-class Mercedes, laid down a mid 12-second quarter with the a/c on, and smoked my ’38 coupe in the process.  Despite the obvious inappropriateness of the Merc, that run has become a sort of legendary tail. What a lot of you never knew was that my dad had installed a nitrous system on the car just weeks earlier. The big sedan was capable of speeds well over 190 mph.

My dad was the ultimate hot rodder. More than that, he was the ultimate dad. He passed away late last week and I sit here a crushed man hiding behind a stone face.

Needless to say, I will be away from the computer for a while. I’m currently taking care of family and doing the things you do when you lose a loved one. I report this only to let those of you waiting on merch orders or email replies that it might be a while. I apologize for any inconvenience fellas. Sincerely.
