Don Waite’s ’29

Being it’s roadster week and all… How about a quick feature of Don Waite’s ’29 as pictured in the September, 1962 issue of Hot Rod Magazine? It’s never gotten a ton of press, but it’s hard to imagine a car built with finer craftsmanship or better attention to detail. Aside from the lack of over-built safety features, it would be easily conceivable that this car was built in the modern era. Literally, they don’t get much better than this:
