Lost ’38

Almost twenty years ago, Dean Batchelor sent me the above photo along with this little note:

“Ryan, I know you’ve been working on a 1938 Ford and thought I would send along this shot for inspiration. It belonged to Bill Faris and was built by Neil Emory in the late 1940’s. I believe this photo was taken in front of Neil’s house…”

At the time, I was just smitten to get a letter from Dean and never really followed up for more photos. Since, I’ve been on the hunt and have yet to find anything else at all on the car. So, I’ve decided to come to you guys this morning…
