Enter To Win: Deuce Week!

Enter To Win: Deuce Week!

The Petersen Automotive Museum is, on many levels, the mecca of traditional hot rodding. In any given year and on any given day, you can drop by the joint and be witness to some of the most important cars to ever grace our world. Starting on February 29, the museum is launching a week long event called, “Deuce Week.”

Between September 29th and March 3rd, there are all kinds of events worthy of you attendance. There are garage tours, museum tours, lunches, round tables, car shows and concerts. You can get a full run down on the event schedule here. Many are either sold out or well on their way to being so… Deuce Week is a big damn deal.

Anyway, The Petersen recently contacted me and announced that they would like to do a giveaway for the fine folks here at The Jalopy Journal and the H.A.M.B. Up for grabs are two tickets to Friday evening’s (March 2) Deuce Week Celebration Concert ($125 face value per) as well as two tickets to the Deuce Week car show that will be held on Saturday, March 3.

If you aren’t familiar with how the Petersen Automotive Museum does things, just know that each of these events promises to be pretty special. Any show in SoCal featuring the ’32 Ford is gonna be a puller, but when the Mecca gets involved things get epic pretty quickly. And the concert? The Petersen doesn’t bring cover bands.

So, I was left with the task of figuring out how to give these tickets away to one of our lucky patrons. And here’s what I came up with:

This post will be open for replies until February 1. On that day, we will randomly pick a number using Random.org. The user whose reply-number corresponds to the random number will be the lucky winner. Brilliant, right? I amaze me sometimes… Of course, there does have to be some restrictions or the jackals will run wild.

Only your first three replies to the thread will be eligible for contest entry.

That’s it… Happy replying… and check out deuceweek.org for more information about the event.
