Lit Up

Lit Up

Keith Weesner is a west coast based artist (and HAMBer) that is known for his incredibly detailed and almost fragile scenes. Somehow, he is able to create a world that we all want to live in using just canvas and paint. A couple of years ago an extremely talented builder out of Missouri, Jimmy Hervatin, decided to recreate a truck found in one of Weesner’s paintings. The result won all kinds of awards and thanks to his good buddy, you can see the build up here.

Apparently, Jimmy isn’t done bringing trucks found in Weesner’s brain to life. He’s doing another one… and this one looks to be even more of an undertaking. Based on a 1951 Ford F1 truck that was painted by Weesner a few years ago, “Lit Up” is chopped, channeled, sectioned, and pretty much entirely hand made. If over-the-top fabrication, a beautiful mind for proportion, and creativity are your thing, you are going to want to follow this one.

Check it out.
