There is something fascinating about the kids of the 1950’s. A-side Beach Boy tracks, poodle skirts, sock hops, etc… Those are the warm and charming side effects of the generation after going through decades of filtering. That’s not the fascinating stuff. What gets me is the shadier side that didn’t leave around as much as evidence. We were all kids once and we all did some pretty stupid shit as we grew up. Learning from those experiences is a big part of what makes us and because of that, I’ve always loved to hear the stories of hoodlums being hoods.
Larry sent over the video below just the other day. I had seen the first part of the video a few times, but had no idea the rest of the footage existed. I’m sure a lot of you have already seen it, but I had to post it out of love.
